Dr. Yelena Bregman, PT, DPT has been passionate about excellence in health care since she was a young child herself. The ultimate catalyst in her life was being a young patient with a chronic condition herself. Since that moment, Dr. Bregman had a dream to help young children with a variety of medical conditions accomplish their health goals. Dr. Bregman can understand what her patients are going through on a personal and a professional level.

Dr. Bregman, PT, DPT is a graduate of New York Medical College. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Pace University and was a part of the esteemed Pforzheimer Honors College. Her Doctoral project was a team based approach Teaching Practicum, Neurological Examination and Evaluation (NEE). Teaching DPT students the proper techniques for patients with complex neurological involvement was a highlight of her own education.

Dr. Bregman has 5 years of experience working in a variety of settings with a broad range of diagnoses. She gained her orthopedic and pediatric experience working at Suki's Place in Manhattan. She gained experience working with medically complex pediatric patients at Elizabeth Seton Children's Rehabilitation Center in White Plains. At the CRC she also gained training and experience working in the Aquatic setting, where the principles of water and physical therapy treatment combined for optimal results. Her clinical training included outpatient orthopedics as well as Acute In-Patient Rehab at Montefiore Hospital.

Dr. Bregman is a proud mom of two sweet boys. She understands how crucial pediatric development is. She strongly believes that the earlier that a child can be assessed and given the opportunity to thrive, the better the outcomes! Her passion for helping other parents is second to none to her resolve to work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of her patients.

Dr. Bregman is fluent in English, Russian and conversational Spanish.
